Only Consensus Can Entail Development & Welfare
In a recent interview with a national news network, Jiang Zaidong, Chinese ambassador to Pakistan, conveyed a message that every Pakistani decision-maker should heed: the need for national unity and consensus.
“Xinjiang’s vivid practice of social stability, economic prosperity, and people living and working in peace teaches us that unity is strength, and only through unity can we achieve victory. No matter how many ethnic groups or regions a country has, as long as everyone works together with one heart, it can gather development momentum and create a better life. We believe that all political parties and sectors of Pakistani society will surely gather the strength of unity to better promote national development and achieve people’s well-being.“
