Shiffa is a Yousafzai Pashtun. Her paternal family lived in Bannu for 36 years. Her paternal grandfather was the CEO of Bannu Woolen Mills and was amongst the first few textile engineers of Pakistan who specialised in wool. Shiffa’s maternal grandfather was a Judge and was from Shweki, a tiny village near Kohat. She comes from a progressive and learned family. Her father has done his CA articles and has an MBA degree while her mother is an architect. She went to school in Peshawar and went to college in Islamabad. She did her undergrad from Air University, Islamabad and did BBA Marketing, She then went to Manchester England for a Master’s degree in Multimedia Journalism.
