Is This The Way To Attract Investment?

According to renowned economist Dr. Kaiser Bengali, 90 foreign companies have already wound up their businesses and left Pakistan. The institution of military and civilian rulers, SIFC, is making efforts to promote business in Pakistan, but its mention in the IMF report has been read by everyone.

In these circumstances, those doing business in Pakistan have to fall victim to red tape. The Prime Minister and ministers appear helpless in these matters, or there may be some other reasons. In a press briefing in Islamabad, South Air Line’s Chief Executive Officer Nisha Fatima highlighted that a three-month process has stretched to a year and a half, but the new airline’s operations are ensnared by red tape.

Sources say that the Director General of Civil Aviation is delaying the issuance of a certificate to the new airline. Aviation experts believe that the interests of two airlines are being protected. South Air has started test flights to Gwadar, but they were not granted permission to begin flights before Eid.

If affordable flights from Balochistan had started before Eid, it would have been easier for people working in Balochistan from our other provinces to travel back and forth for Eid al-Adha. Pakistan is sinking in the culture of corruption, red-tapism, and favoritism.
