As Corona virus spreads around the World, Pakistan is no exception. On daily basis number of Corona virus cases in Pakistan are increasing with Sindh province reporting the highest number of positive cases. In Sindh the Corona positive cases have increased after the 50 people who had arrived in Sukkur from Taftaan have been tested positive. There is a likelihood that this number will increase since a total of 829 pilgrims are still under quarantine, who came from Iran via Taftaan border, recently.
There is a lockdown of school, colleges and other educational institutes as well as some public and private offices and the staff has been advised to work from home amid increasing number of cases, but people unfortunately are behaving irresponsibly as many of them are taking it very lightly and are rather taking this as “vacation” and are seen going to beaches, malls and restaurants etc. which is extremely irresponsible behaviour on their part.
By now, almost all of us know how the Coronavirus spreads, so we have to avoid going to public places that are indoors and are congested, have to avoid physical contact.
We all need to be washing hands with soap as many times as possible and if outdoors, use of sentizers is highly recommended.
This is a time when the whole nation has to act very responsibley in helping the government control this pandemic by observing “social distancing” seriously. Hope people will take this seriously and will help control the spread of Corona Virus.
