Hopes are high for Islamabad United (IU) as Pakistan Super League is about to begin. In the last year tournament, IU showed good performance. They secured third spot beating Karachi Kings who had equal points (10) but poor run rate. Islamabad United was just short of (4) points to make it to finals. Out of total of (10) matches they played Islamabad United won (5) matches & lost (5) matches.

Islamabad United is owned by Leonine Global Investments through its sports entity Leonine Global Sports, owned by Ali Naqvi and Amna Naqvi.
