G-7 Summit at Munich and deepening geopolitical divisions

The G7 summit in his opinion had two major focuses, first to counter China’s belt and road initiative (BRI) and to impose more sanctions on Russia, including including the on ban gold imports. During his address to the BRICS summit, the Chinese President Xi Jinping said sanctions on Russia would have a ripple effect across the globe, making it more volatile and unstable.
