Pakistan vs Australia was one crucial match. After defeat from Australia it seems a bit difficult for Pakistan to sustain its position.

Judging by the performance and according to numerous analysts, Pakistan’s fielding was a major drawback and greatly affected the result. That gives off the impression that despite knowing that the fielding skills need improvement, the Pakistani team is not displaying the required effort.

The match began with the toss, which was won by the Pakistani Eagles that decided to bowl first.

The Australian openers, Aaron and Warner started off brilliantly as their 146 runs worth of partnership proved to be a head start for the team. However, if not for the poor fielding, Warner would not have made a century and the Pakistani bowlers would still have a chance at breaking the partnership. The Australian team went on to score 307 runs by the 49th over. Muhammad Amir proved to be a bowling ace as he took five wickets while Shaheen Afridi managed to take two and Hasan, Hafeez and Wahab each took one.

Pakistani batting was under constant pressure throughout their inning. While it is true that many of the batsmen put in a lot of efforts, they did not prove to be enough. Pakistan, it seems is going down without a fight and the feeling is definitely not pleasant. After 30 overs Pakistan’s score stood at 160/6.They had scored 94 runs in last 12 overs and the efforts of Captain Sarfraz and Wahab Riaz went in vain.

As a result, Australia beat Pakistan by 41 runs.

Captain Sarfraz was very disappointed and said that they lost 3 wickets in just 15 balls which was the major cause of their defeat. According to him too many runs were scored in the first 20 overs. Pakistan’s performance was poor no doubt and left the fans highly disappointed. We can only hope that the next result is in Pakistan’s favor.
