With the month of fashion at a close, with its final and grand show in Paris, we can safely say that we have seen it all. The glamour, the colours and all the fame in one place. With all our major fashion outlets exhibited at the fashion weeks in Milan, London, New York and Paris, we now have a sneak peak into the autumn-winter collections of 2019 and summer-spring collections of 2020.

Paris fashion week held last week saw the best designs from brands such as L’Oreal, Valentino, Sacai, Stella Mccartney and many renowned brands that featured their best, and set a high standard for next years’ fashion sense.

This year round, Paris Fashion Week had no limitations. No discrimination based on age, or body size existed. We can see that when Oscar Winning Actress Helen Mirren joined the event, and several plus sized models walked for L’Oreal Paris on the ramp.

Colours this time were diverse, bright, and glossy. We saw orange and purple, yellow and blue, green and red being used to complement each other. Paris was not black and white; it was bright and it glowed with every colour possible.

Major celebrities joined in as they walked the ramps, with our very own Mahira Khan joining the same rank, displaying a new youthful look with a leather jacket and a black and white button-down combination. Mahira Khan, in that very moment, became the ambassador for Pakistan, in the global fashion industry. She posed with Yanina Couture, L’Oreal, Ralph and Russo, but quite possibly the best look Mahira wore that exuded the sheer glory that is the veteran actress herself, was the dress by Envelope1976 and a hat by hagahats. Mahira Khan’s glamour was a treat for everyone in the country.

This week was sheer fascination for us and the people interested in fashion. Dominating the fashion hemisphere were the finest of designers around the globe. Celebrities joined in as they walked the ramp or simply sat as observers. Ashwariya Rai, Justin Timberlake, Camilla Cabello, Eva Langoria and so many big names joined the week, endorsing the most prominent and celebrated designs.
