Delicious Chicken Pie

Ingredients:

Chicken 1 kg with bones. cut in small pieces
Onion 1 medium Chopped
Cinnamon stick 2-inch piece
Whole Black Pepper 6-8
Salt 1 1/2 teaspoon or to taste
Vinegar 2-3 tbsp
Sugar 1 ½ tsp
Corn Flour 4-6 tbsp (depending on the amount of gravy you want)
Eggs 6-8 boiled (can decrease/increase quantity according to your taste) Black Pepper Powder 1 ½ tsp
Baakar Khaani 3-4 (enough to layer the chicken)
Water 2-3 glasses

Method:

STEP-I :
Take a pot, pour in the oil and heat up for a minute. Add chopped onions and fry till golden brown. Add chicken and fry for a few minutes to seal the chicken. Add cinnamon & whole black pepper powder. When chicken gets tender and is fully cooked, take out cinnamon and whole black pepper. Now add water, vinegar, salt, black pepper powder, sugar & let it cook for five minutes. When it starts boiling, it is time to add cornflour. Dissolve cornflour in some water and stir well so no lumps are formed. Now add cornflour to the chicken to make a thick gravy. Remove the pot from the stove.

STEP-II:
Take a baking dish and shift the cooked chicken with gravy to the dish. Spread the chicken evenly. Now cut the boiled eggs in halves and layer on top of the chicken. Take bakar khani and crush it roughly into big pieces. Now layer it on top of the dish. Set oven on 250 C for 20 minutes. Put the dish in pre-heated oven. Bake for 15mins. Then turn on the top rod and then bake from top for 5 mins When it turn golden brown, it is ready to serve!
