The Indian Chronicles Part 11
MATRIX SPECIAL
In the part one on the Indian Srivastava Group’s sinister anti-Pakistan campaign (Link http://www.matrixmag.com/how-india-subverted-un-charter/) we explained how this network of nearly 750 NGOs, news outlets, websites and domains churned out disinformation on Pakistan and China from out of Brussels, the seat of European Union, Geneva, the seat of UN Human Rights Council and New York, the UN Headquarters.
Here we reproduce a page from The Indian Chronicles on some of the NGOs that were used to defame Pakistan.
Baluchistan House
“The Baluchistan House was founded in 2013 by Tarek Fatah a mediatic figure in Canada, who describes himself as a “an Indian born in Pakistan a Punjabi born in Islam; an immigrant in Canada with a Muslim consciousness, grounded in a Marxist youth”. He is also a friend of Ankit Srivastava and told CBC, after our investigation in 2019, that the Srivastava Group pays him to reproduce his Toronto Sun op-eds in the
Srivastava-owned New Delhi Times.”
The Baluchistan House, which is operated by Tarek Fatah (executive director) and another activist, Mehran Marri (President), has been organising demonstrations, conferences and other activities for a long time, in particular in Geneva. We can also find traces of these events by looking at those promoted by the Baluchistan House on PR Newswire which were often linked to the email address baloch.secretariat@gmail.com.
We counted at least ten events: Demonstrations in front of the UN Broken Chair in Geneva, demonstration outside the UN in New York, event in Capitol Hill in Washington DC or in front of “Pakistan Embassy” in Ottawa. The Balochistan House also organised conferences and events hosted in the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg with the help of MEPs connected to Indian Chronicles, such as MEP Czarnecki, MEP Martuciello and former MEP Paolo Casaca (now head of the SADF think-tank). These events usually criticize Pakistan foreign policy, China’s foreign policy or both.
The authors of the Indian Chronicles concluded that the domain (baluchistanhouse.com) was registered by the Srivastava group.
Back in 2015, Tarek Fateh introduced Brahamdagh Bugti, the self-exiled head of the separatist Baloch Republican Army (BRA) to Ajit Doval, the current National Security Advisor. Both Fateh and Bugti traveled across India for four months, mostly hosted by the right-wing radical RSS and likeminded parties. Their primary objective, according to a former employee of the Kautilia Books in India, was to write a book titled “Hindu is Not My Enemy.”
Both enjoyed hospitality for four months but the book never became a reality. Fateh however continued to engage with Pakistani dissidents in Geneva, London as well as used India for his anti-Pakistan statements, which essentially aligned with Ajit Doval’s plans on Pakistan.
