US India preferential trade status: A boon or a bane

The decision of the US President Trump to revoke India’s special trading status might not turn out to be major blow to the latter. It may even work in India’s favour as this move will result in $5.6 billion worth of  Indian exports hike which were earlier entering the US as duty free goods under the terminated agreement.
