HBL Pakistan Super League 2022 is the seventh season of the Pakistan Super League, a franchise Twenty20 cricket league established by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) in 2015. The league was founded on 9 September 2015. Initially, it had five teams. The league is based in the Pakistan Cricket Board office in Lahore.
Six teams are playing the tournament with their names taken from six leading cities of Pakistan. Both local and international players are part of the teams, which makes it very exciting for the cricket enthusiasts. Instead of operating as an association of independently-owned teams, the league is a single entity in which each franchise is owned and controlled by investors.
