Engineer Arshad Abbasi, a water and energy expert, spoke with Matrix Media about the destruction and havoc brought on by the floods in Pakistan. The Federal Flood Commission’s projects and performance, he claimed, have been made clear by the flood because they were unable to control the water and respond to emergencies, which caused widespread chaos. More than 16 million people are now homeless as a result of the floods, which have claimed more than 1,600 lives.
