The Taliban government has been under pressure from the International community ever since they took control of power to ensure inclusiveness. It is being demanded by the world community from the Taliban regime to mainstream women in all spheres of life besides including youth and minority communities in the socio-economic and political development of the country. Sakina Hashim, Director of the Pak-Afghan Chamber in Pakistan says that mainstreaming women under the Taliban is a must. She says that though the Taliban government at the moment is in its interim set-up, there is a need that they must include women in the social and political life be it businesses or home-based work. Women in Afghanistan have to contribute to the development of the country. Women must have opportunities to go to school and universities and therefore women must be allowed to get an education.
