The damage inflicted on Iran so far (as of early June 17, 2025) points to a systematic degradation of the state of Iran. Depriving it of nuclear capabilities is just an excuse.
Major cities – Tehran and surrounding areas (Oil depots, military installations ), Isfahan (Known for nuclear and military sites. Kermanshah ( IRGC bases), Shiraz ( known for Defense industrial sites), Bushehr (Nuclear power plant, energy infrastructure), Lorestan Province (Military sites) – remain the target of repeated attacks for their strategic importance.
Decapitation of nearly a dozen top military and intelligence officials and at least six nuclear scientists within three days betrays a stark reality; insiders guided Israeli missiles and jets to the exact locations of these extremely important officials. Even though Iranian officials claimed to have arrested dozens of alleged spies and saboteurs linked to Israel, the damage is already done because of a much bigger plan; Israeli PM Netanyahu on the one hand, indirectly confirmed plans to assassinate Iranian spiritual leader Khamenei by telling CBS news that “ eliminating them would end the conflict. The anchor had asked Netanyahoo if Israel planned to assassinate top Iranian leaders, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
“Israel is doing what we need to do but it’s not going to escalate the conflict. It’s going to end the conflict.”
“The ‘forever war’ is what Iran wants, and they’re bringing us to the brink of nuclear war. In fact, what Israel is doing is preventing this, bringing an end to this aggression, and we can only do so by standing up to the forces of evil.”
President Trump also issued a similar warning: “IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON- SIMPLE.” The full strength and might of the U.S. Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before,” Trump had stated before leaving for the G-7 summit in Canada.
If read together statements by both Netanyahu and Trump make the long-term plan glaringly clear; cripple Iran forever.
The following list of places that Israel targeted unambiguously explains the long-term plan;
- Underground Missile Production Facilities: There are strong indications that Israeli strikes on Tuesday morning continued to target Iran’s underground missile production and storage facilities. These are often deeply buried and hardened targets, making their destruction a priority for Israel to limit Iran’s missile capabilities. Specific locations, while not always publicly confirmed by Israel, are believed to be in central and western Iran where such facilities are known to exist.
- Command and Control Centers: Reports suggest strikes aimed at Iranian military command and control centers, particularly those associated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Disrupting these centers would hinder Iran’s ability to coordinate its forces and retaliatory actions.
- Drone Manufacturing and Storage Sites: Given Iran’s increasing use of drones, particularly in its proxy operations and recent attacks on Israel, intelligence suggests that Israeli forces are actively targeting drone manufacturing plants and storage depots. This morning’s strikes likely included efforts to degrade this capability.
- Logistics and Supply Lines for Regional Proxies: While specific to Tuesday morning is harder to confirm without real-time, granular reporting, a broader pattern of Israeli strikes in recent days has included targets related to Iranian logistics and supply lines that support its alleged regional proxies. This could involve warehouses, transportation nodes, or facilities used to transfer weaponry to groups like Hezbollah or other militias. It is plausible that such targets were also hit today.
- Specific Locations (as reported in recent days, and likely continued focus):
- Isfahan Province: Continues to be a focus due to its significance as a hub for nuclear and military installations.
- Kermanshah Province: Known for IRGC bases and missile-related activities.
- Shiraz: Defense industrial sites, including electronics industries.
Nuclear Facilities:
- Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant: There are reports of Israeli strikes on the Bushehr nuclear power plant, though the extent of the damage to the core reactor or its operational status is debated. Some reports suggest strikes on surrounding infrastructure rather than a direct hit on the reactor itself.
- Other Nuclear Sites: Unspecified “sensitive sites” related to Iran’s nuclear program have been mentioned as targets. These could include enrichment facilities, research centers, or related infrastructure.
Military and Defense Industrial Sites:
- IRGC Bases and Installations: Numerous Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) bases and military installations across the country have been hit. These include:
- Kermanshah: Reports indicate significant strikes in the Kermanshah region, which hosts various IRGC facilities.
- Lorestan Province: Military sites in this province have also been targeted.
- Isfahan Province: This province is known for its military and nuclear sites, and it has been mentioned in connection with Israeli strikes.
- Defense Industrial Complexes: Facilities involved in missile production, drone development, and other defense industries have been targeted.
- Shiraz Electronics Industries: This facility, involved in defense production, has been specifically mentioned as a target.
- Underground Missile Production Facilities: There are claims of Israeli strikes aimed at Iran’s deeply buried or underground missile production sites, though verifying the extent of damage to such hardened targets is difficult.
- Airbases and Air Defense Systems:
- Reports suggest strikes on Iranian airbases, likely aimed at degrading their air force capabilities.
- Air defense systems, including radar installations and missile batteries, would be high-priority targets to ensure Israeli air superiority during strikes.
Energy Infrastructure:
- Oil Depots and Refineries: Israeli strikes have reportedly hit oil depots and refineries in several locations, including:
- Tehran: Specifically, a major oil depot in Tehran has been reported as hit.
- Bushehr Province: Energy infrastructure in this province has also been targeted. These strikes aim to cripple Iran’s energy sector, which is vital for its economy and military.
The course of events syncs in with what General Wesley Clark, NATO’s former Supreme Allied Commander for Europe, told an American TV in 2007.
Recalling a handwritten memo by then Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, Clark said about the US after the 9/11 attacks:
“We are going to take out 7 countries in 5 years: Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and finishing it off with Iran.”
The annihilation of Iran, as per those September 2001 plans, is currently underway. In an interview, Netanyahu alluded to Pakistan too as a radical Islamist country. Our mission is to prevent nuclear weapons from reaching these countries. Is Pakistan next?
