COVID19 has affected us in many ways. Schools, colleges and universities are closed to help stop the spread of Corona virus. Many public and private institutions, offices are closed (voluntarily or by orders) and almost all public activities, sporting events are canceled. Restaurants, theatres and hangouts are non-operational and there are hardly any opportunities to go out of home for fun and recreation.
Self-quarantine is being strongly advised and many are religiously observing it. While staying indoors will lead to “flatten the curve” of COVID19 and will help lessen the pressure on our healthcare system, many of those who had very active social lives are now feeling extremely bored and are getting depressed. Particularly those who are living alone in or outside the country, away from their families and now forced to not even meet their friends, may develop mental health issues.
