Geologists drilled a Well to Hell!!!

Hell is an afterlife dwelling in which evil souls are subjected to eternal suffering, torture and punishment after death. This concept takes us back to Dante’s Inferno – a journey through the depths of Hell. Also it reminds us of Guido’s presence in the eighth concentric circle of Hell where his damned soul was turned into a flame and it moved as he talked to Dante. This piece was fiction. But a similar real life incident occured in Russia.

Deep in the Arctic at the corner of Russia, scientists drilled a 14.4 kilometers (9 miles) deep hole through the Earth’s crust, near Kola Peninsula. The drill began to rotate rapidly – making it appear as if it entered a cavity or an underground pocket.

The geologists soon began to listen to unusual sounds – thinking that the equipment had malfunctioned. It turned out those peculiar noises were the screams of the damned from earth’s deepest hole.

Super sensitive microphones – that were designed to detect tectonic plate movements – were lowered to the bottom of the well. To their astonishment they heard the screams of perhaps millions of suffering souls. Calculations indicated that the given temperature was about 1,100 degrees Celsius.

Portal to Hell

Dr. Azzacove, who was one of the scientists who were drilling the Kola borehole in Siberia, said that “we tried to listen to the earth’s movements at certain intervals with supersensitive microphones, which were let down through the hole. What we heard turned those logically thinking scientists into trembling ruins. It was a sometimes a weak, but high pitched sound which we thought to be coming from our own equipment”.

“As a communist I don’t believe in heaven or the Bible but as a scientist I now believe in hell, needless to say we were shocked to make such a discovery. But we know what we saw and we know what we heard. It seems almost like an inferno of fire is brutally going on in the center of the earth. And we are absolutely convinced that we drilled through the gates of hell!

Dr. Azzacove continued, “. . . the drill suddenly began to rotate wildly, indicating that we had reached a large empty pocket or cavern. Temperature sensors showed a dramatic increase in heat.”

“But when we made adjustments our worst suspicions were confirmed. The screams weren’t those of a single human, they were the screams of millions of humans!”

The geologists immediately aborted the project due to the terrifying discovery and a few of them even suffered trauma.

Similar series of events took place with a famous underwater explorer named Jacques Cousteau, who heard the noises of people screaming under water while exploring one of the underwater caves. He also later quit explorations.
