Dubai to host first ever Pakistan International Screen Awards

Are you planning a trip to the middle-east anytime soon? Then you shouldn’t clearly miss the opportunity to drop by at the big event. According to the latest reports, the scintillating metropolis of Dubai will soon be hosting the first ever Pakistan International Screen Awards [PISA] on February 7, 2020. The event will take place at the Coca-Cola Arena in the city, reported Gulf News.

The event will not only include awards for film and TV screen artists, but Pakistani social media personalities will be receiving their accolades on stage for the first time. Recently, Executive Producer of Pakistan International Screen Awards; Faisal Khan talked about the “diverse talent” from Pakistan that must be showcased on global platforms.

“Over the last few years, Pakistan has been lucky and grateful to have come across such diversity in talent from both men and women,” said Khan.

“It gives me great pleasure to have a platform to showcase the progress of our film fraternity and in a time and age of a digital world; it is time to stand up for what one believes in. Patriotism is at an all-time high and we all can’t wait to showcase our best.”

 He also declared that PISA would be “like no other event,” and achievers in electronic and social media will also be awarded.

The event is surely going to be a star-studded event full of glamour, pomp and show. The leading stars of the industry are expected to be participating and attending the mega event filled event, including Mahira Khan, Fawad Khan and Saba Qamar. Those who have already been locked in include Ayesha Omer, Ushna Shah, Hareem Farooq, Sarwat Gilani, Imran Abbas, Shehryar Munawar, Javed Sheikh, Vasay Chaudry, Umair Jaswal, Junaid Khan, Sara Loren, vlogger Mooro, Strings band, Farhan Saeed and the Hocane sisters. Many more are expected to attend the glitzy evening.

However, Mehwish Hayat has already declined the invitation for her engagement of a shoot.
