Absolutely Not! We are not your Slaves!

It’s an unfair world!

As are siblings, sometimes!
As is family frequently!
As are friends, occasionally!
As is life mostly!

But then there is this flutter ever so slight. A fragrance ever so faint. A whisper, nearly silent, a vision, barely discernible, a movement ever so gentle, of a something, somewhere that seems so dreamlike and unbelievable that it seems like a fairy tale.

Imran Khan

For those of us fortunate enough to live through these momentous moments in today’s Pakistan will remember these past months as the period when this wretched, unfortunate society, looted and plundered, devastated, ruled and destroyed by kleptocrats and plutocrats in civilian clothes and khaki which nearly stifled her soul, witnessed a stiffening of her spine, a jaunt in her step, a slight smile on her face as Pakistan looked the world in the eye and said these 7 famous words

Absolutely Not!….We are Not your Slaves!

And there will also be another group amongst us, most unfortunate souls who while living in these times, as Pakistanis, will clap for the same rapists, looters, plunderers and destroyers of this nation, the Sharifs, the Zardaris and charlatan Rasputins like Fazlu, simply because those the gods want to destroy they first make them deaf, dumb and perhaps also make their “kanpaen tangaen” 🤦‍♂️.

Enough poetry!

Of course there will be people amongst us who will say that PM IK has created grave problems for Pakistan by first refusing to agree to the USA’s requests, post their withdrawal from Afghanistan and has know, taken on both the USA and EU with his very, oh so wonderful, we are not your slaves home truth!

Yes there can be an argument to say that he may perhaps should have been more circumspect by sharing his views with them privately, rather than in a public meeting in Mailsi. Oh Mailsi, you lucky town, you are now part of historical folk lore!

But, should he have?

Should this society which has been lead by leaders with rubber hoses for spines be again lead to their slaughter like the silence of the lambs?

Isnt it about time that the wretched people of this spineless land and sniveling, grovelling leaders, having welcomed, garlanded and feasted every invader for thousands of years, not show some mettle, some self respect, some moral courage?

Should we continue to suffer the indignities of having looters and plunderers like the Sharifs, the Zardaris and their half witted, dimwitted, children rule over us as if we were living in pre-historic times?

People of Pakistan, open your eyes and ears, especially those blinded by the pieces of several that the Sharifs and Zardaris throw at you or deafened by the poison that they and their supporters poor into your ears day and night!

Chose between living like sheep and fowl, to be slaughtered or to soar like, Allama Iqbal’s Shaheen!

Imran is no ordinary leader, he is an exceptional leader.

Value him!

And yes he is mortal and yes he has weaknesses. And yes one can disagree with many of his decisions.

But he is an exceptional leader who makes us carry our head high!

And he is still our best fighting chance to take back Pakistan from the robber barons, looters, plunderers and rapists of this fair land, Pakistan!
