Ingredients:
Sawayan / Vermicelli 01 Packet
Sugar I/15 cups or to taste
Khoya 125 gms
Desi ghee ½ Cup (or to taste)
Milk ½ Litre
Cardamom 04 (powdered)
Nuts for garnishing
Method:
1- Heat desi ghee in a pan, add cardamom and fry for thirty seconds.
2- Then add sawayan (vermicelli) and fry till the vermicelli is golden-brown. At this stage, it will also give a nice aroma. Don’t over fry to avoid burning the vermicelli.
3- Now add milk & sugar. Cook for a few minutes.
4- When sugar gets completely dissolved, add khoya and keep stirring it till the time all of the milk evaporates.
5- Tasty sawayaan are ready to be served. Garnish with nuts and serve hot.
