Friends Forever

Friends are there to heal the wounds,
To draw you out of sorrowful tunes,
To brighten up your cloudy skies,
To clear up fictitious lies.

Friends are there with open arms,
To comfort you and block the harms,
To keep your secrets hidden away,
To help you through a heartbreaking day.

Friends are there through laughter and tears,
Friends are there through joy and fears,
Friends are fun yet friends are clever,
And the ties that bind will last forever.

Stevie is 13-years-old and in seventh grade at Batchelor Middle School. "I am the oldest of two children in my family. For fun I enjoy being with my friends, playing baseball, and softball. My favorite pro baseball team is the Atlanta Braves. Someday, I'd like to go to college and either become a sports agent or some kind of doctor. I think I want to go to Florida University or North Carolina."
