Terry Wiz came to Bloomington in the summer of 1992. She obtained her graduate degree in creative writing from Indiana University in 1996. Now a Bloomington resident, Terry helps run a small educational publishing company. Sometimes transported unexpectedly into childhood by certain smells she encounters and often losing the meaning of words, Terry continues to favor poetry, where sound is at least as important as sense-if not more so.

MATRIX is proud to offer eight poems by Terry Wiz:

Augury at Third and Lincoln, Ask Me Who's President, Dirge, Moment of You, Sediment, Wake, What Moved Me, Pile.
