Hello everybody!

The monthly open mics have evolved into a welcoming forum
for both new and returning poets. Diversity reigns on open
mic nights - we've heard poems set to music, watched a piece
of spoken-word performance art, and listened to the occasional
excerpt from budding novelists.

Regulars noted to me that the open mic has become a good testing ground for poems-in-progress. I guess we're not an intimidating group of listeners. :)

Speaking of intimidation, I, the OM Maven, am looking for a
partner in crime to host these open mics. I feel it is a
rewarding experience for the little effort I put in, and I
always leave an open mic feeling inspired. If you're interested,
come see me at the next reading or send me an email.

and/or read your latest work.
